Know yourself Slim down strategy is no different from strategies for other things we overcome in life. There is the old expression from The Art of War: "If you know your enemies and understand yourself, you'll win a hundred battles with no single loss". To begin with, familiarize yourself together with your enemies, that is, the things which lead to your weight gain. Then, examine how they affect you, which is, how do you respond or not react to those factors. This simple measure will direct you in devising the best plan of action in reducing down your way.
Time Management The majority of us can agree punctually as a major factor impeding our slender down. After all, most of us do not spend our days wondering how we have so much spare time. The situation may play differently for every one of us. So do you take the back seat or take control and set yourself first? Start Small Your aim may be high but do not attempt to take high at a single shot. Don't make unrealistic goals which will not be fulfilled anytime soon. It's safe to say that you can not slim down enough to be 4 dimensions smaller in 1 week. Instead, make small changes which you can live with. If you're a soda drinker, you may want to substitute your can of soda per day to perhaps just twice a week.
If you enjoy sweets after every meal, you may cut down this after a day just. When you see slow positive changes in the things you devote to, you're more likely to stay with this. If you like chocolate (and I think I speak for most of us when I say "yes"), do not make it your enemy. Even better, make it your friend. Reward yourself when you've had a successful run in making changes in your own life by allowing your self-own "chocolate".
